get curious

Pay attention.

What if better nutrition could be less stressful and more enjoyable? How about saying "change is hard, lets try to make it interesting".

Move from knowing some facts to developing your curiosity. Become disenchanted with behaviors that harm your health.

“We need better nutrition education programs that are evidence based, clear up confusion and cultivate curiosity. Nutrition is an incredibly interesting field - if you are getting contradicting advice find reliable sources of information.”

From a client's recent thank you note:

"I'm so appreciative of the time you spent with me yesterday. Something in me feels so relieved. All of the conflicting information and struggle seems to be gone. Slow steps.

I will stay in touch and we will see where to go from here. Thanks a million once again for your guidance. I think your way of communicating with me is an excellent fit."

identify nutrient gaps

Gaps in essential nutrients limit your health potential. Being low in even one essential nutrient can have serious health consequences as an individual, and in communities.

individual nutrition plans

In the mid 90's my clients found it hard to believe that butter was a more healthy choice than margarine, that gatorade was just another sugary drink, and that muffins were a close cousin to cake. As humans we are quick to pick up a new food trend, and slow to learn the truth about the trend. The trends change, the food manufactures do great job of selling to customers, and people who have no credible training in nutrition are often the most heard voice in giving nutrition advice. In addition, licensed providers are also at times giving pseudo science advice.

With an individual nutrition plan from Annette, you will improve your health with confidence.

It is OK to ask for help.

Studies have confirmed that you will experience more success changing your diet when you have a partner; whether it is a doctor, nutritionist, or a friend.

It is important to have someone to talk to and help you get back on track when you stumble. We're only human and we all mess up.

With over 70% of adults over 20 years old in the U.S. being overweight, you are not alone if you are trying to lose some weight. Having a supportive weight loss partner can make a difference.

Seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition and before undertaking any diet, supplement, fitness, or other health program. Just because the methods achieve satisfying results for many people, they may not work for everyone.
